Can you still get nutrients if you cook lettuce or spinach? - did george crum get married

So I want to make a salad and I came across this site that offers advice for the storage of food to the most nutrients possible. This is mentioned, you do not cook the vegetables to cook until the vegetables are dissolved nutrients supply, so that they more readily in the body when absorbed raw vegetables, "said Crum."

So:
1. Is that true?

If yes:

2. Can I cook the spinach and salad (or only eat the bags of mixed salad in supermarkets ready) and more nutrients than raw?

3. Have a suggestion for the kitchen? Steam? In a frying pan? George Foreman Grill? lol
